Tolkien's World: by Ian Miller

This work was originally painted as the cover for a book entitled, "Tolkien's World." The book was never published, however. Ian Miller does amazing work with inks, and the level of detail on this piece is truly incredible. The shading is done with hundreds of tiny geometric patterns and symbols.
